Cody Dock, Newham - Community Space Regeneration (2872/D/TP)

The aim of the project is to regenerate an underused community space. The project will prepare Cody Dock for development. Volunteers will clear foliage and waste into skips for recycling. The site (an acre) will be levelled and hard landscaped. 250m of footpaths will be built and 150m of safety handrails installed at the dock's edge. An accessible toilet will be built, signing and safety lighting will be installed. Volunteers will build 100 planters and install 150 plants, 20 trees and 200 perennials. These will reflect the needs of the existing biodiversity.
