COHORT

The planting of a genetic resource orchard containing examples of every known variety of perry pear tree and of all known varieties of other Gloucestershire fruit trees, thus preserving the biodiversity of rarely found historic fruit varieties currently endangered. The public will have full access to the orchard, which will also contain displays explaining Hartpury village’s and the Counties orcharding heritage. LTCS monies to go towards orchard planting, landscaping, site preparation and the shed.
