Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club - Pitch Covers

The Colchester & East Essex Cricket Club is a community cricket club with charitable status. The Club was established over 150 years ago and we have been playing cricket at the Castle Park ground, a few minutes' walk from the town centre, for over 100 years. The Club provides services to the community, schools, and all ages from 4 yrs and above and has built a strong local network.
The Club has a responsibility to its members, to visiting players and to the wider Colchester community that uses the ground to maintain it to as high a standard as possible. The Club's three cricket covers, which are designed to protect the pitch from wet weather shortly before and during cricket matches, are in a poor state and need to be replaced by three new covers.
