Coldingham Lukenbooth

The proposal is to create a new interpretation centre in Coldingham combining it with a meeting space, a Community Post Office and Public Toilet. The new building will be located at the entrance adjacent to Coldingham Priory.
The creation of an interpretation centre and its associated community post office will make a major contribution to the sustainable development of Coldingham and its surrounding area. It will complete an essential second stage of the project to rejuvenate the heart of Coldingham Village which has already seen the successful completion of the adjacent village hall / community theatre and the restoration work on the priory and the development of a community garden. All these developments form part of an initative to encourage tourism and develop more enhanced facilities for the local community.
