Coleridge Cottage Re-presentation

To conserve and improve the visitor experience at the cottage where Samuel T Coleridge wrote some of his best known works. Inside the cottage, we plan to re-instate some of the architectural features that have been subsequently covered and to provide engaging and interesting information for visitors by presenting some rooms as they would have looked when the Coleridge family lived there and installing new interpretation. We also plan to revive the garden with new landscaping and planting with the help of the local community so that the public can have access for the first time.
