Colin Glen Community Adventure Zone

The project is a Activity Zone at Colin Glen Forest Park, enhancing a free 200‑acre public woodland park in an area of high social need. It will introduce outdoor adventure and learning activities for schools, families and community groups, increasing access to safe, high‑quality recreation and supporting mental and physical wellbeing The project will also help protect and enhance the surrounding woodland environment by encouraging responsible use of the forest, supporting nature‑based education and sustaining the long‑term management of this important green space.
The 'Train the Trainer@ refers to a course to train existing and future staff in the potentially dangerous activities involving ropes etc. By so doing the hope to future proof this aspect of the project by having the expertise in house.
