Colnbrook Recreation Ground Improvements

It is recognised that young people should be encouraged to spend more time outside enjoying the fresh air, exercising and playing on equipment that will both stretch their imagination and keep them fit and healthy. Additionally, have access to the appropriate facilities as the times they want will help to pride them with a positive attitude and divert them from potential crime or anti-social behaviour.
Currently the recreation ground does not provide equipment for these older children so the aim of the project is to remove the old, worn out and outdated play equip and to enhance the play area with the up to date, with the new exciting play equip that is currently available. It is proposed to extend the amount of equip within the play area which will in turn enable more children to play at any one time. This will mean that the existing railings enclosing the play area will need to be extended.
