Colne Community Hall Main Hall Floor Refurbishment

The project is to replace the old damaged, uneven parquet flooring with resilient vinyl flooring that is safe for different users and eco-friendly. This includes the purchase of all materials to refurbish the floor; all labour costs entailed in the removal of the old floor, the laying of the latex screed, the damp-proof membrane and the relaying cost of the new vinyl flooring.
The old wooden flooring required a lot of maintenance using chemicals such as polish and industrial polish remover and glue; the new flooring would not require the use of such chemicals, as such, less impact on the environment.
The project will make the floor safer to use and allow the facility to be available for use for all the local community for the foreseeable future.
