Combe Valley Country Park, St Leonards on Sea – New Play Space (10212/D)

The project aims to to create a free open access inclusive playground. The play provision will be close by to a neighbourhood which has no play facilities and will serve a large community who live next to a landfill site. The playground will be positioned on the recreational ground by the entrance to the tip. It will include all the play opportunities requested by children during all of our consultation events. A large playful mound with slide, tunnel and climbing, toddler swings and a basket swing. It will also include an access bridge and playful bench in the shape of the nearby ship wreck the Amsterdam. These parts will be built by the recycled wood project and their volunteers.

The trust will contribute towards the play space.
