Community Amateur Sports Club – Clubhouse

Project aims to build an RFU compliant clubhouse, changing rooms, ablutions and visitors toilets at our ground at Hollybush Minchinhampton. Currently our clubhouse facilities comprise two site accommodation units with no showers and portable toilets.

The club is home to some 300 to 400 members of whom 300+ take part in weekly rugby and training activities throughout the year. Without proper facilities we have a number of challenges:
– 275 mini & junior players play rugby every Sunday with nowhere to change, shelter, relieve themselves or rest (if injured or after play).
– We run out three senior teams (two playing regularly most Saturdays) with only one shared changing room and no showers
– Whilst we are a very popular club (growing every year for the last ten years) there is no heart to the club we have no training room and nowhere to meet
– Our kit is stored variously in an ISO container, at coaches homes and sometimes outside in whatever the weather making access intermittment.
