Community Base, Brighton - Community Cookery Centre (005791)

This project will convert a centrally located space into a community cookery centre. The space will include a teaching kitchen capable of delivering classes to 12 people at a time, a communal area to share meals, office and toilets. Once built the kitchen will be used to teach cookery skills to people experiencing exclusion, poverty and poor health. The space will be accessible for community use for groups to run their own activities.
