Community Centre Yorkley

The project is the installation of a ground source heat pump system and photo-voltaic roof panels in our new Community Centre
We are a charitable trust that has been successful in gaining a Big Lottery award of £500000. Of this amount £385000 will be used to build the Community Centre, the remainder being committed to charges and contingencies. This amount, although substantial, would not fund such systems. This application reflects our urgent desire to install an environmentally sustainable energy system.
This project will improve the maintenance of an important new public amenity for our community, protecting our physical and natural environment. Any reduction in carbon usage will also improve bio-diversity.
