Community Dance Studio Build

The dance studio ought to be of a sufficiently high specification to serve the local community. To our knowledge there is no purpose built dance studio in Abingdon and certainly not in South Abingdon. The establishment of such a studio would allow a socially deprived area where 37% of adults 16- 74 have no qualifications, to be regenerated. We would approach Oxford Brookes University to act as a satellite for their community degrees. We envisage evening classes and summer schools. We also have applied to be a pilot for the creative and media specialized diploma. Proportional registration. LCF to fund up to a maximum of £177,380 only.
