Community Entrance & Vestibule : St Andrew’s Church

To bring an existing 156 year old church into wider use for the benefit of the community. The church will continue to provide religious services on Sundays and other significant dates, and the body of the church will be used by the wider community for general use during weekdays. A community café will also be incorporated into the front of the church accessed by way of a glazed lobby directly from the main street of Sedgley. This structure will ensure full visibility both into and out of the church and demonstrate a wide welcome to all members of the community regardless of age, gender, colour or creed thus helping to address economic and social deprivation in the area through inclusion.
