Community Hall Annexe

As part of our regular review of our Mission Statement, Bedford Methodist Church wishes to change emphasis to become a “Community Church” to provide service in the community. The current configuration of the Church is very limiting and two groups cannot be run at the same time. We are resolved to build an Annexe, attached to the church, which will enable us to provide services that we are not currently able to provide. We have met with people and organisations with local influence, including Local Residents Association, Local Community Workers, Township Forum, to discuss our proposals. Local Councillors for the Electoral Ward, within which we operate, have told us that there is only one other community building within two miles. They are wholly encouraging and have said that this sort of proposal will be extreamely benificial to the local community.
