Community Library Temperature Management

In the last 2 years, peak summer temperatures have resulted in unpleasant working conditions that verge on unacceptable for staff and volunteers, and an unenticing environment for users. In winter, warm air from the central heating rises to the vaulted roof and the central heating system struggles to maintain a comfortable temperature around ground level. The installation of reversible fans in the Library will improve the circulation of air during hot weather and recirculate warm air from the roof areas in cold weather.
