Community Pitch Project

The club is seeking funding towards the construction of a Community floodlit, all weather
pitch (A to complement its existing grass pitches at Kilsby lane in Rugby. The club has
the support of the FA and the local authority and other funding bodies has secured planning permission for the scheme.
The Community anticipates an increase in demand over the next 5 years
which it will not be able to accommodate with its current facilities. Rugby Borough
Council confirms these projections in its Playing Pitch and Housing Growth strategies
which indicate an 11% growth in population resulting from the development of 6,200
homes within 2 miles of the site. The ATP would be used by the club as well as being
open to the wider community for recreational use and for holiday activities including
cricket camps
