Community Project in The Old Town Hall, Eccles

Refurbishment is being completed in phases. Phase 1 to install a disabled lift had already been completed by the Council before ECHO took control of the hall. Phase 2 to bring the main hall into use has been completed by ECHO. The lavatories are not fit for use and there are no kitchen facilities. Phase 3 will include installation of kitchen cabinets, floor coverings, appliances and associated electrical and plumbing work plus complete refurbishment of both lavatories to include the provision of a WC compartment in each for use by ambulant disabled people. The project as far as ECHO is concerned therefore comprises Phase 2 and the final Phase 3.
