Community Rooms, St Andrew’s Church, Collescote, Stourbridge

St Andrew’s Church community hall opened in 1965 as an extension to the 1939 church. It was in regular use until 2016 when signs of structural instability restricted access to the toilets and kitchen only. Since December 2018 further damage has stopped access to the hall completely, which has resulted in the church having to hire a portaloo, and with the only water supply on site being via a hand basin in the church. This project seeks to address the situation through the relocation of the toilet and kitchen facilities into the church following the rationalisation of rooms on the northern side of the church. The main body of the church can then be used as a replacement to the hall and the community facility can be re-established.
