Community Warmth Project – Pukar Disability Centre

The aim of the project is to make the building warmer and more energy efficient for all the centre users. Exisitng windows and doors will be replaced with UPVC double glazing, new heating system installed, suspended ceiling replaced and fully insulated and lighting replaced with LED lighting units. The PUKAR centre provides accessible facilities in Preston City centrefor the benefit of all people especially those with disabilities and their carers. The centre is available for the general public to use and the centre hosts training sessions for the community to improve ITC, employability, well being skills etc.
