Community Woodland

To create an area of native scottish woodland within the village of Auchterhouse to enhance community life and improve the local environment. This is the final part of a wider community project which has seen funding of £27,500 raised locally for the successful provision of a tennis court for community use.
The woodland will provide a backdrop to the new tennis facility whilst providing a community facility to encourage socialisation and healthy living (woodland walks) and positively encourage an active interest in the natural environment.
