Completion of Children’s Natural Play Area

A Children’s Natural Play Area (Play England) was planned for the park. The plans were drawn up and the landforms completed (phase 1) but the funding stream ceased before the project was completed. The original play area was to have a zip wire, tyre swing, climbing net and paths through it. These were never completed. Walkers Heath Park has no current play facilities – not one swing even.
