Composting and minimisation of electricity substation wastes - a strategy for sustainable development

The prime objective of this project is to evaluate waste arisings from electricity substation sites and develop regional composting schemes to provide sustainable waste management practices that can be further developed and applied throughout the utility industry. The project deals with waste management minimisation, recycling and associated environmental issues, and will provide community wide benefits.
