A new Apiary, Wildlife and Historic visitor Centre is being created on a previously disused, abandoned and overgrown Ancient Water Well site. The project will provide pathways that will will allow the general public access to the site.

The aim is to provide the general public schools, historical societies and other interested groups, particularly those associated with younger people , an environmentally friendly visitor experience that will increase awareness of Bees and Beekeeping, allow access to the myriad of interesting Wildlife and plants that are present and also to the 9 Ancient Wells and small listed building that dates back to the 1500`s that are Historically and Architecturally significant being the original Wells and water holding tank for the first piped water for the town of Shrewsbury.
