Congleton RUFC Phase 3 project - Toilet Block

During the enforced shut down in the covid pandemic, the Club defined a three-stage project to completely renovate their clubhouse. The first two phases have been completed as follows :
Phase I : The clubhouse which needed extensive repairs including new flooring, seating and bar.
Phase II : The changing rooms which were in a critical state and not safe to use.
These two phases have cost approximately £100k funded by crowdfunding, grants and club resources.

This project is for the final stage of improvements:
Phase III : The toilet block, is old, unheated and sits outside the clubhouse with no facilities for females or people with disabilities. The project will require demolition of the current building, and the new block constructed attached to the clubhouse, with better (covered) access from the clubhouse and benefiting from the heating system which is provided by the new energy-efficient boiler installed during Phase II.

The upgrade of the toilet block will ensure that the club’s facilities are inclusive and fit for the future.
