Connecting Cannock Chase

This project aims to carry out heathland restoration on Cannock Chase, encouraging a mosaic of heathland plants that support a range of species.

Work will include scrub clearance, bracken control, grazing, the creation of bare ground and carrying out surveys in key locations to monitor the impact of management and to inform future management. The project would work with volunteers, the CCC partnership, contractors and local farmers.
