Connecting Wild Clifton

Clifton has a number of greenspaces, woodland and wetland areas which are remnants of the old Clifton Estate, owned by the Clifton family for hundreds of years. Through the creation of the Clifton Housing Estate in the 1950s, much of the greenspace was lost, and the remaining greenspace became highly fragmented. Through this project, we would now like to improve the quality and condition of the remaining woodland and wetland habitats throughout Clifton through a programme of enhancements for wildlife, as well as improvements to allow better management access in the future.
