Conservation and Renovation Work – Porch House

Porch House is a grade 2* listed building which dates back to (at least) the 15th century. It is now a house and adjoining hall which is used extensively by the community as meeting rooms etc. Recent investigations (following consultations with English Heritage) revealed that it was severley infested with dry rot and death watch beetle. It is therefore in urgent need of restoration. The Heritage lottery fund have now accepted it as a project and we are looking for a landfill tax partner
