Conservation & enhancement of coastal & floodplain grazing marsh at Old Hall Marshes.

The aim of the project is to enhance and conserve coastal & floodplain grazing marsh (a UK BAP priority) at Old Hall Marshes in Essex for the benefit of overwintering dark-bellied brent geese and breeding lapwing (both amber listed species). It will also help to protect the UK & LBAP species of skylark, bittern, brown hare and water vole. Application of Spring fertiliser & weed control treatment.
