Conservation management of Rushbeds Wood

This reserve is one of the remnants of the ancient Royal Forest of Bernwood. Thw woodland, hedgerows and meadows abound with flowers and butterflies in the summer. Thistle spraying and hedge cutting are essential for both the wildlife and the visitor access and enjoyment of the site.
