Conservation of Bats in the East of England

The projects intends to research into the behaviour of the soprano pipistrelle bat with particular reference to its relationship with church buildings, with the intention of helping to protect the species from the potential negative effects of this particular interaction. The project will involve the undertaking of a number of practical conservation management works, detailed below: - Installation of large bat boxes - Installation of incubators - Physical provision of roost sites.
