Conservation of Meadow Clary at Stuart Fawkes Nature Reserve

Stuart Fawkes Nature Reserve is a Site of Special Scientific Interest designated for its unimproved limestone grassland. It also supports one of largest populations of Meadow Clary (Salvia pratensis) a Red Data Book species which is protected under Schedule 8 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
This project will ensure that the conditions are in place for this rare species to flourish.
