Conservation work at Lower Smite Farm

Lower Smite Farm is a nature reserve and head office of the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust (WWT). The 65 ha site is managed organically, to improve soil health and to develop the quality of the farmland landscape for wildlife. Lower Smite Farm is also used as a demonstration site for farmers and other local landowners. The project involves the purchase of a vehicle that will enable WWT to transport tools and equipment from suppliers and other nature reserves, in order to carry out conservation work and better manage the wildlife habitat. The vehicle will be permanently stored in secure barns at Lower Smite Farm.
