Coombe Hill Canal nature reserve wetland complex extension

The aim of the proposed wetland creation is to enhance the current habitat available for breeding waders by providing increased wetland features adjacent to the existing scrapes on the reserve. This will create a more intricate and diverse wetland complex, resulting in an additional 13 hectares of habitat which will benefit the biodiversity of the site and have knock on benefits for both the existing resident and passage species.
