Coseley Storage Project, Coseley Cricket Club

This is a project to replace a 30-year-old metal storage facility. The club is applying for urgent funding to replace a rusted, leaking, no longer secure facility, which has been broken into on several instances. There is a worry that if something isn’t done, the maintenance equipment may be stolen. The equipment within the shed is used to cut and maintain pitches for use by the junior section, adult section, ladies’ teams, charity matches and fundraising events for the church. It is also used by the bowls club who share the equipment. The storage facility is essential to the provision of providing a facility where residents can exercise, meet and learn within their community, there are no Local Authority services similar or within 10 miles of the area.
