Cotswold Playhouse Development – Phase 2

This project is for the development of Cotswold Playhouse to enable it to expand its activities and meet the needs of its users.Improvements include: disabled access/toilet facilities; ramped access to the stage end of the building to allow an alternative entrance/exit to the theatre for wheelchair users; a first floor rehearsal room/dance studio with spring floor; a scenic workshop with racked storage and direct access for visiting companies (currently the number of productions is limited as sets have to be built on stage); a new façade architecturally reflecting the building’s historic roots; office facility and archive store.
