Cottier Theatre Organ and Organ Chamber Restoration

The Cottier Theatre, formerly Dowahill Church is a Category’A’ listed building in Glasgow. It has a historic pipe organ and internationally important decorative scheme. The aim of this project is to reinstall the restored organ within the organ chamber in the building after first restoring the original decoration in this area. The organ is currently in
storage and its return and restoration within the theatre is eagerly awaited. It will coincide with a publication by Historic Scotland devoted to the building and containing indivdual chapters about the decoration and the organ.
