Coundon Hall Park, Coventry - Peace Orchard Improvements (006325)

The Coventry Community Peace Orchard is a unique community project in Coundon Hall Park in North West Coventry. Established in late 2017, hundreds of school students and local people planted 250 native apple trees, 400 hedging plants on a 4 acre site to create an environmental, community, education and commemorative resource. The project will - Improve accessibility for people with mobility problems and parents with pushchairs, dog walkers and joggers by installing new footpaths - Create a natural peaceful place for the general public to 'escape' with wildflowers, interpretation and seating.
