Cramlington Juniors Football Club

The CJCF is a branch of the Northumberland Football Association, set up in 1973. The group aims to promote the growth of competitive football at junior level and to develop the skills of the young players in their charge. It has requested funding to pay for a new extension to the current building to allow for storage as at present the club is forced to store football equipment in the changing rooms due to lack of space. For health and safety reasons the club would like to have a specially designated storage area, thereby allowing the changing rooms to be used for their correct purpose.
The building is owned by Blyth Valley Borough Council but has been given to the club on a 25-year lease. Planning permission has been received, pending the certificate.
The project is situated within 10 miles of 12 landfill site (East Cramlington Transfer Station at less than one mile) registered on the Environmental Agency website.
