Cranham Marsh Management

This 32 acre nature reserve contains ancient woodland, flower-rich grassland, sedge fen, reed-filled ditches and ponds, all with an abundance of wildlife.
It is designated a Site of Metropolitan Importance
To conserve its wildlife the Trust manages the woodland by coppicing and the grassland by grazing and haycutting
The warden is a volunteer and to do the more specialised or labour intensive work other Trust staff have to be brought in.
This project will fund these additional management costs for two years
