Crawley URC, Crawley – Re-ordering (10058/D)

The project aims to re-order and update the 1950s building tomake it accessible to a wider range of people, energy efficient and easily maintained. There will be two phases to lessen disruption. In phase 1 The Sanctuary will be reversed, refurbished and new frontage built – a single entrance created with a church office nearby, a new disabled toilet installed, fire escapes, and windows, electrical and heating systems upgraded. When funding allows, phase 2 will refurbish the toilets, install a lift, upgrade the kitchen and provide new children’s toilets for the main hall.

The Trust grant will contribute towards the re-ordering work.
