Creation of a recreational footpath/bridlepath/cycleway - Whalley Village Recreation Ground

The QEII Trust has completed the construction of a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) alongside an 11 station outdoor Green Gym, both of which are next to a Youth Shelter we completed in 2015. These facilities are sited directly next to a public footpath, which is the only access to the facility. Unfortunately for much of the year this footpath is very challenging, often underwater with deep mud, which is also true of much of the land around the facilities. We are installing floodlighting during November & December 2018 and we wish to make the facilities available to the general public all year round, particularly for pushchairs, bikes and pedestrians.
