Creation of a Reedbed at Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve

The construction of a reedbed reservoir at Frampton Marsh reserve. The reservoir will cover 23 hectares, including 19 hectares of reedbed, open water pools and an island for ground nesting birds. The creation of the reedbed will address regional and national BAP targets, and will act as a reservoir to supply water to an area of fresh water scrapes and 30 hectares of floodplain grazing marsh.
