Creation of an enclosed 2 lane artificial cricket practice facility

Our club is looking to encourage more people to take up sport and enjoy the benefits of being part of an inclusive club. The project will enable the installation of two artificial practice wickets, enclosed within a steel frame to which netting is affixed. This facility will provide an opportunity for all ages and abilities to experience the game, whether they are beginners or have previous experience. It will provide facilities to use and enjoy, benefiting both physical and mental health.

The funding will be used to contract a specialist company to deliver a 2 lane artificial cricket wicket practice facility. The 2 cricket practice surfaces will be enclosed within a steel framed structure with attached netting to ensure safe use of the cricket ball.
