Creation of new kitchen

The church has a phased plan to improve access to the body of the church and crypt. The first phase is to provide kitchen facilities in the crypt area, within an unused storeroom. To enhance facilities for users of the crypt meeting room. At present there are no facilities for the provision of drinks or light refreshments. There are many users of this area and provision of a kitchen is seen as vital to its users. The present kitchen for the church and crypt is in the northwest corner of the body of the church. This kitchen is 50 years old, is inadequate for the present day and will be removed to allow the creation of the new accessible entrance. The crypt area (our church hall) has no facilities for providing refreshments to users; currently we use a kettle, and small fridge located in the Parish Office nearby. It is envisaged that by improving the facilities in the crypt rooms we would be able to host more meetings and events for other charitable organisations.
