Creative Community Greenland, Allanson Primary School and Neighbourhood Nursery

This is a project to provide enhanced ‘green space’ for use by the local community, as well as members of the school . The project has come about as a result of a six-week project conducted during July/August 2006, supported by the local Groundwork Trust and the Riverside Group. Elements of the project funded by landfill tax credits will include planting in woodland, wildflower planting along ‘calm path’, seats, football posts, rugby posts, enclosed shaded seating area, tree seat, community garden and bins. Allanson Primary School has extended school status and its grounds are open to the public from 8.00am to 8.00pm daily, including non-term time.
