Creggan Country Park Access Project

The project involves extending access to the upper levels of the 100 acre Creggan Country Park site, enabling improved disabled access in particular. This will involve the creation on an extended network of paths link the existing access to our proposed ‘ conservation area’. The project involves the creation of paths along with bridges to cross streams and voids, plus fencing, and turnstiles. When complete the project will open up an additional 10 hectares of parkland to the public who will enjoy free access throughout the year. Currently we close for a few days at Christmas only and are open from 9.00am until sunset.
