Cricket Ground Improvement for SMCC

SMCC provides facilities that serve all sectors of our local ethnically diverse community and is endeavouring to provide wider engagement by the community and to improve the club facilities. The club currently only has two sight screens left as the others have deteriorated beyond repair, and the current ones are of the same vintage and are disintegrating. The fixed sight screen is also in a very poor state and will is likely to be demolished if our plans for a new pavilion are successful in a years time. For two pitches SMCC requires eight sight screens as this is a requirement for 1st XI cricket and is commensurate with the standard of the ground and cricket that is played.
