Cricket Net Refurbishment for Whitwell Cricket Club

The aim of the project is to renovate the netting area of the cricket club. This area was laid down 15 years ago and now requires refurbishment (new netting and small repair to concrete base). Refurbishment will help in the club’s youth development programme. The club aims to improve participation in the village and surrounding area in sport and cricket. The club allows free use of its facilities (both supervised and non supervised). By improving the nets the club hopes to improve number of those enjoying the facilities as well as the club being able to improve the techniques of players.
