Projects / Cringle Park Community Woodland

Cringle Park Community Woodland

We will work with The Friends of Cringle Park, local residents, youth and community groups, schools, The Red Rose Forest and other stakeholders to transform this underused park into a welcoming and attractive open space. We will plant two new woodlands of approximately 1,000 trees, a natural 200m Beech hedge ampitheatre for a band stand and a tree orchard / avenue of trees. We will consult residents on how they see their local neighbourhood and how they would like to see it improved, resulting in a final planting plan. The plan will then be implemented by local people, improving the sustainbility of the project.
